I'm still waiting for her to smile at me though. My book says it's supposed to happen sometime this month. She is already standing on her legs when we hold her up! She's the best thing that ever happened to us. :)
She's almost 7 weeks old. I can't believe I've already been away from work for that long. I never want to go back but I'll do what I have to do. It's been so nice to get up in the morning and do whatever I want! Typically, I get up, feed the baby, work out (jog or do a DVD), shower, clean, read, and run errands. It's not a lot I guess, but feeding the baby takes a lot of time out of your day.
I will be returning to work the first week in October. Eric is going to watch her days and I will watch her nights. I hope we can make the transition smoothly.
I'm about 15 pounds away from my pre-pregnancy weight. I don't feel too bad about this since I gained 50lbs. (Not recommended.) I'm counting calories and working out and I've lost about 2 pounds a week, not including the initial easy weight loss. The first 2 weeks I lost 30 pounds. That was fun. I will have to work for the rest of it though. It's hard to be patient and even more hard to be consistent but I refuse to keep the baby weight even though Eric has asked me to. Ha! He likes bigger curves. :)

She's so cute! That's awesome that she's so good tempered! Ya, I gained 55 pounds so I feel ya. I started running this week to starting getting back down. I've got about 20 pounds to go. I
She must be your reward for the HORRIBLE delivery.
